Sale Mountain

This is a small, but popular area 18 km north of Revelstoke on Highway 23.

Parking is limited on the Highway, use caution. A road leads to the top of the mountain, which allows early and late season access to the snow.

There is a B.C. Hydro Communications tower at the top. This is Private Property, please respect it, and do not go near it.

The mountain is a TENURED area, which means limited access to sledding. Signage shows that Nordic skiers, and Selkirk Tangiers Heli-skiing uses areas South of the tower. Also, this area borders a National Park to the south.

No riding in Park areas is allowed. Riding altitude: 4000 - 7000 ft.

Major trails are marked by club members, as well as prominent landmarks and junctions. There is a Guest book at the cabin, we urge you to sign in and out.

Riding altitude: 5000 - 7000 ft.
